Start with MonoRouter
What you need and how to connect your development tool.
Updated: October 2026
MonoRouter connects your development tools to AI models and tracks usage with MonoGPT credits.
1. Open MonoRouter
Sign in to MonoGPT and open MonoRouter. Start in the MonoRouter API keys tab of its separate window.
2. Create a key
Follow Create and manage an API key, select your models and issue a key. The New API Key section then appears.
Live production window captured at 3× resolution. The secret is covered and the capture key has been deactivated. Select the image to enlarge it. UI labels are in Korean.
| Value | Purpose |
|---|---|
| API key | A secret that authorizes requests from your account |
| Base URL | The endpoint for your tool; each tool has its own address |
| Model ID | The exact identifier of the model to call |
3. Connect your tool
| Tool | Setup method |
|---|---|
| Codex | Run the four commands shown in the popup |
| Claude Code | Apply the download to your Claude Code settings |
| Cursor | Enter the key, endpoint and model in Settings |
| OpenCode | Save opencode.json in your project folder |
Install the external tool first. Connecting MonoRouter does not unlock that tool's subscription features.
4. Check the connection
Send a short request and compare its time with Usage in MonoRouter. Test requests also consume credits.
If a button is disabled or a request fails, see Usage and troubleshooting.
